Privacy Policy for Chitralaya CloudGallery App

1. About Chitralaya CloudGallery App:

Chitralaya CloudGallery app is a privacy-focused application developed and maintained by Aditya Shinde [AKS-Labs]. Our app is designed to provide users with a secure way to sync their photos to their own personal Telegram account, leveraging the official Telegram Bot API.

Chitralaya CloudGallery is an open-source project. As developers, we are committed to transparency about how our app functions and how it handles your personal data.

2. User Privacy Data Collection and Storage :

Chitralaya CloudGallery operates on your device and does not:

• Store any of your personal data on any servers.

• Track your usage or behavior.

• Use analytics services.

• Share your data with third parties.

Data Transmission :

Your photos are transmitted off your device, but only for the purpose of syncing them to your personal Telegram account. This process is initiated by you when you provide your unique Telegram Bot API key.

• The app reads photos from your device.

• The app securely transmits these photos to the Telegram using the API key you provided.

• No third-party servers belonging to us (the developer) are involved in this process. All data remains between your device and your Telegram account.

3. Permissions Required : 

Chitralaya CloudGallery App requires certain permissions to function properly. Here's why each permission is needed:

• Read Photos:

  • Purpose: To read and sync device photos.

  • Usage: Our app requires permission to read PHOTOS to detect new photos to sync to your Telegram.

  • Data handling: Photos are read for the sole purpose of transmitting them to your Telegram account. No message content is stored by us.

• Internet Access (INTERNET):

  • Purpose: To communicate with the Telegram Bot API.

  • Usage: The app needs an internet connection to securely sync photos to your Telegram account.

  • Data handling: Internet access is used only for the core syncing functionality. The app does not use internet access for any other purpose.

4. Children's Privacy : 

Chitralaya CloudGallery is committed to following the Google Play Families Policy and any applicable laws, such as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

• Since our app handles personal data, if you are a parent or guardian of a child, you are responsible for providing the Telegram Bot API key and for monitoring how your child uses the app.

5. Changes to Privacy Policy"

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any changes by:

• Posting the new Privacy Policy on our GitHub repository.

• Including notices in app updates.

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this Privacy Policy. We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

6. Compliance with Privacy Laws:

Our no-server-data approach is designed to respect major privacy regulations, including the GDPR and CCPA. Since we do not collect, process, or store any of your data outside your device (other than the transmission to your own Telegram account), you maintain complete control over all data handled by the app.

• Your app’s core functionality relies on the Telegram Bot API, which is a service provided by Telegram.

• The photos synced through our app are handled by Telegram's service and are governed by Telegram's own policies.

• You must review Telegram's Privacy Policy.

8. Your Rights : 

Since we don't store your data, many traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) are fulfilled by your direct control. You have complete control over all data in your Telegram account. You can:

• Stop the syncing of photosat any time by uninstalling the app or revoking its permissions.

• Delete any messages directly from your Telegram account.
