About me

I am an experimental solid-state physicist working in the field of quantum transport. This basically means studying the electron flow in low-dimensional systems to explore their quantum properties which require low temperatures (4 K to ~10 mK). I work mostly on 2D materials systems (van der Waals heterostructures). I also have experience and interest on heterostructure quantum wells hosting 2D electron gas.

Other than that, I am a kind, curious, committed and sincere person. I believe growth happens through self-improvement and I keep working on myself. I am a quick learner and a good teacher. I have recently picked up the hobby of painting.

I can speak English, Malayalam, Tamil, some Hindi and a bit of German.

Cryogenic systems: Dilution Fridge, 4K VTI systems, wring for electrical measurements, low noise electrical measurements
Radio-frequency measurements; Resistively-Detected Electron Spin Resonance (ESR), Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) coupling, Co-Planar Waveguides (CPW)
Microfabrication techniques: Photo-lithography, Electron-beam lithography, metallization, and etching techniques
