I'm working as an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC).
I completed my Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (2015--2017) and the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (2017--2019) under the supervision of Prof. Rupam Barman.
Title of the thesis: Arithmetic properties of certain partition functions and modular forms.
I worked as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City (IIITS) (2022--2023), and I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at
Indian Statistical Institute Delhi (2021--2022).
Harish-Chandra Research Institute (2019--2021).
Research Interests: My research interest lies in the area of Number Theory. Recently, I am working in partition theory using techniques from modular forms, analytic number theory, algebraic number theory, and combinatorics. Specifically, I am interested in the arithmetic and distribution properties of the Fourier coefficients of modular forms and hauptmoduls, and the combinatorial properties of theta functions. I am also interested in finding the connections with other areas of mathematics (like: Siegel cusp forms, Graph Theory ) with various types of partition functions.
We organized the International Conference on Lie Algebra and Number Theory (ICLANT - 2024) on June 10-14, 2024 at NIT Calicut.
