My name is Chiranjit Mondal. I was born and raised in a small village in West Bengal, India. After completing my schooling at a nearby school, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Physics (Honors) at Scottish Church College, University of Calcutta. I then obtained my M.Sc. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, followed by a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore. From April 2021 to February 2025, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Theoretical Physics, Seoul National University (SNU), where I worked on various topological aspects of quantum materials. Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), USA.

My research focuses on exploring complex quantum phenomena, including topological phases of quantum materials and moiré materials. I enjoy working both independently and collaboratively with experimental and theoretical research groups. I am passionate about deepening my understanding of quantum materials and exploring their potential applications.
