Current Research Interest
My research at UESTC focuses on quantum sensing and quantum reservoir learning.
Within quantum sensing, I work on all sorts of things - but primarily many body quantum probe design and theory of quantum estimation in general.
I am now trying to understand the physics of quantum reservoir learning and have worked on applying QRL for financial forecasting and study of non-linear dynamical systems.
Visit individual pages for more details and please feel free to have a chat if you have concrete ideas along any of these lines.
Previous Work
During PhD, I used to work in open quantum systems and various quantum resource theories.
For open quantum systems, I worked on non-Markovian dynamics of central spin models (useful for NV centres), and autonomous thermal machines in the past.
I worked on resource theories of quantum coherence, stabiliser computation a.k.a. magic, uncertainty relations in quantum mechanics, quantum switches etc.
I do not directly work on this stuff any more, but these are fundamental issues, so please feel free to drop by if you are excited. We can always cook good sensors from good physics.
