ENV 517: Environmental and Resource Economics

Course Description: This course examines environmental problems, their potential solutions, and the analytical tools used to plan and address these issues. It specifically focuses on challenges related to air quality, water resources, solid waste management, and toxic substances, as well as global environmental management and sustainability efforts. A segment of the course is also dedicated to the economics of climate change, exploring the nature of the challenge, the role of energy policy, carbon pricing, and adaptation strategies.
