Computer simulation of nematic liquid crystals and magnetic materials :

For this project, my system was liquid crystal and magnetic material. I studied their types, microscopical orientation, and, their application in various fields. I used the Lebwhol-lasher model for Liquid crystals and the Ising model for magnetic materials to get the orientation of spins and interaction energy between spins in both systems. Throughout this process, I learned MATLAB, Monte Carlo, and other Statistical and computational methods while simulating the systems.
