Chinese Word Builder is a Mandarin vocabulary-learning app. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
Learning data stored on your device
Chinese Word Builder stores your learning progress, review history, custom decks made from the app's built-in vocabulary, reminder preferences, and app settings locally on your device. The app does not currently require an account, and the developer does not receive this learning data.
Your local learning data remains on your device until you reset it, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app, subject to your device's backup settings.
Advertising and Google AdMob
Chinese Word Builder displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share information such as:
• Your device's IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
• App interactions, including app launches, taps, and ad interactions;
• Diagnostic information about app and advertising performance; and
• Device or account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID where available.
Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Data sent by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. Depending on your region and consent choices, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited.

Consent and privacy choices
Where required, Chinese Word Builder asks for your advertising consent before requesting ads. You can revisit applicable choices through Privacy and cookie settings in the app's Settings screen. You can also manage or delete your Android advertising ID through your device's privacy settings and manage Google ad preferences at:

Notifications
If you enable study reminders, the app uses your device's notification system to schedule the times you choose. Reminder preferences are stored locally. You can disable reminders in the app or revoke notification permission in your device settings.
Audio and microphone
Vocabulary pronunciation audio is included with the app. Chinese Word Builder does not record audio and does not request microphone access.
Accounts and information you provide
Chinese Word Builder does not currently provide user accounts or collect names, email addresses, passwords, payment information, contacts, precise location, photos, or user-created vocabulary through the app.
If you email the developer for support or a privacy request, the information in your message will be used only to respond to your request and maintain necessary support records.
Children's privacy
Chinese Word Builder is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information by contacting the developer, please use the email address below to request its deletion.
Data retention and deletion
Learning data stored by the app can be removed by resetting progress, clearing the app's storage, or uninstalling the app. Advertising data is handled and retained by Google according to Google's policies and the user's consent and device settings. Support emails are retained only as reasonably necessary to address the request and maintain support records.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app's features or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Data deletion requests
Chinese Word Builder's learning data stays on your device. To delete it, open Settings in the app and choose Restart all progress. You can also clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app. These actions remove locally stored learning progress, review history, custom decks, reminder preferences, and app settings as applicable.
To request deletion of information sent directly to the developer, such as a support email, email solpointuno@gmail.com with the subject “Chinese Word Builder data deletion request.” Please identify the information or prior message involved. Information controlled by the developer will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days unless it must be retained longer for security, fraud prevention, legal, or regulatory reasons.
Advertising data is collected and handled by Google AdMob rather than stored in a Chinese Word Builder account. You can reset or delete your Android advertising ID in your device's privacy settings and manage Google advertising data and preferences at https://myadcenter.google.com/. Google's retention and deletion practices apply to data handled by Google.
