Our work is far from complete, and the journey ahead is filled with potential and opportunity. While we have achieved significant milestones, we remain driven by the understanding that there is always room for growth and innovation The future is filled with promise, and we are committed to spreading hope and joy through laughter to combat the biggest mental health challenge, depression.
Looking ahead, one of our primary goals is to host a fundraiser and donate the proceeds to the Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD. This local organization provides vital mental health resources in our community. We have already reached out to potential venues for the event, including Chick-fil-A, Aerodrome, and Chuck E. Cheese.
In addition to the fundraiser, we are working on a local initiative to create Stress Buster Kits. These kits, including stress-relief toys and motivational letters, are designed to help alleviate stress and will be distributed throughout our school.
Another exciting activity we’re participating in is the Run for Mental Health Houston on May 11th. While Joscelyn plans to run, the rest of us will be volunteering! Regardless, this event presents an incredible opportunity for us to break the stigma surrounding mental health and take meaningful steps toward a healthier, more supportive future.
