The Chilean-German Workshop on Combinatorial Optimization aims to bring together researchers from different areas of combinatorial optimization, strengthening the already close ties between Chilean and German researchers, most of whom are now based at institutions around the world, as well as with other close collaborators. The workshop places a strong emphasis on in-person collaboration. It will feature a small number of longer overview talks on current forefront topics in the area, open problem sessions, a few short talks spread throughout the week, and ample time for collaborative research.
