First Chilean ALMA User's School
Instituto de Física y Astronomía, Universidad de Valparaíso
November 20-26, 2025
Instituto de Física y Astronomía, Universidad de Valparaíso
November 20-26, 2025
The School will start at the Universidad de Valparaíso with two days of classes focused on the theoretical aspects needed for understanding submm interferometry with ALMA. The next two days will be taken for a round trip to the ALMA Observatory, including flights from Santiago to Calama and a night in San Pedro de Atacama. After returning to Valparaíso, the School will finish with three days of hands-on sessions, mainly focused on data reduction and scientific exploitation of ALMA data.
