Kaixin Ji is a foutrh(last)-year PhD candidate in innovative interactive technologies at the School of Computing Technologies at RMIT. She also has a Master of IT (Human Computer Interaction) degree. Her thesis focuses on measuring confirmation bias in interactive information-seeking (IIR) using wearable devices to gather physiological data such as brain activity (EEG), electrodermal activity (EDA), eye movement, and motion. In addition to studying confirmation bias, her research also explores other types of cognitive biases and their impact on decision-making in both screen-based and voice-based information interactions.
Nuwan Janaka is a Research Fellow at the Smart Systems Institute, National University of Singapore, where he focuses on developing platforms for wearable intelligent assistants under the mentorship of Prof. David Hsu. His research interests include Human-Computer Interaction, particularly in heads-up computing, human-AI collaboration, and information presentation on augmented reality smart glasses.
