Become a Member of CNSA
To become an official member of the California Nursing Students’ Association, Chico State Chapter, students must:
Be a currently enrolled Chico State student
Be admitted to and enrolled in the Chico State Nursing Program
Maintain an active membership with the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA)
Maintain NSNA/CNSA membership in good standing throughout the membership period
NSNA membership automatically includes membership in the California Nursing Students’ Association (CNSA).

CNSA membership gives nursing students access to:
Professional development and career-focused events
Mentorship and peer support
Networking opportunities
Community service and chapter involvement
CNSA and NSNA resources and opportunities
Eligibility to earn a CNSA graduation cord by meeting chapter requirements
Note: Participation in CNSA events alone does not constitute official membership. Active NSNA membership is required.
The California Nursing Students' Association (CNSA) is a constituent chapter of the National Student Nursing Association (NSNA).
Membership in CNSA is automatic when you join NSNA. Your membership strengthens the voice of nursing students on the state and national level.
