We’re Alan and Ella — a husband-and-wife duo who share a love for both food and technology. Our journey into the food industry began in 2014 in Hong Kong, where we developed a nutrition and food ordering app at the Hong Kong Science Park. That experience opened our eyes to how technology can transform the way we enjoy, prepare, and manage food.
In 2022, we relocated to Bristol and fell in love with the city’s vibrant street food scene. Inspired by its energy and creativity, we decided to bring our own unique flavour to the table. After years of dreaming, planning, and recipe testing at home — often late at night after work — Chick’n Croffle Co. was born in 2025.
Having crispy fried chicken burgers with sweet, buttery croffles, our stall is where indulgent comfort food meets thoughtful innovation. But for us, it’s about more than just great taste. We’re passionate about using technology to improve food preparation processes, reduce waste, enhance customer satisfaction, and support more sustainable, profitable operations.
