About the Author
Robert Stagg was running a riverboat with his father and brother on the wild Talkeetna river before he learned to drive a car. He grew up in Alaska, a land of untamed wilderness and majestic landscapes. As a full-time elementary school teacher, Robert writes middle-grade fiction in his free time. He also enjoys teaching and training in Okinawan karate, painting, snowboarding, fishing, and building boats.
Robert has currently self-published two novels: One Tree, his debut novel, and Karate Camp.
One Tree tells the history and stories of The Northern Clans of prehistoric Alaska and Canada.
Karate Camp follows the adventures of Tom Lightfoot, a Hawaiian and Tlingit Indian boy from Anchorage, Alaska.
