Hot schedules is our scheduling app where you can will see your schedule, change your availability, request time off, release and pick up shifts.
Every Thursday your schedule for the following week will be posted
Release a shift
Click on the shift you want to release
Click release this shift
Select the reason why
Hit confirm
This shift is still your responsibility until it has been picked up by a coworker and approved by a manager.
Pick up a shift
If you see shifts available that means there are shifts you can pick up and work
Click on the day and select pickup shift on the shift you want to work
Type the reason why you want to work
Hit done
This shift is not your responsibility until it has been approved by a manager and you can cancel the pickup until its approved. Once it has been approved the shift is your responsibility and you must find coverage if you can not work it.
Swap a shift
Select the shift you want to swap
Select swap this shift
Select the person and shift you want to swap with
Submit the request
This must be approved by the team member you are swapping with and a manager
The shift you are scheduled is your responsibility until it has been approved by a manager
Change your availability
Click the three lines in the left upper hand corner
Click my availability
Select the +
Select the start date
Add the days and times you are able to work throughout the week and hit save
Your new availability must be approved by the scheduling manager before it goes into effect
Request time off
Click the three lines in the left upper hand corner
Click time off & requests
Press the plus in the lower right hand corner
Select time off needed
Fill out the required fields
Hit done
Time off requests must be apprived by the scheduling manager before you are guaranteed to have the day off. Once it is acccepted you will not be scheduled
Blocked days will show on the bottom left hand corer, the icon is an x in a box. Blocked off days cannot be requested off and if you are scheduled you must find coverage for your shift or you will face disciplinary actions
