If you write literary fiction (short stories or novels), live in Chicago, and feel that you could benefit from being part of a community of writers to workshop your writing, please fill out the form below. If we are not currently accepting, we will let you know and give you the option of going on our waiting list to be informed first when we are accepting new applications.

If you are interested in joining, you do need to be able to commit to the following:

• Attending meetings every other week (on a weeknight) to discuss members' work.
• Submitting a short work of fiction to the group approximately once every 6 weeks (possibly more frequently if desired) for discussion.
• Writing up approximately a page of notes each for 2-3 other writers every two weeks.

Please only respond if you can commit to the above. We are looking for dedicated literary fiction writers. Looking forward to hearing from you! Please note that spaces in the group are limited and we select the writers that we feel will be the best fit for the group.
