The schedule for the one-day workshop is here. Please note that this is an evolving schedule and may change.
Our schedule currently runs from 9am - 6pm Local Time in Yokohama Japan (GMT+9)
9:00 am - 9:30 am
(30 minutes)
Workshop Welcome and Introduction. Organizers introduce themselves, welcome participants and provide an overview of the agenda for the day.
9:30 am - 10:30 am
(~ 1 hour)
Keynote and Discussion. Keynote discussion will operate as a moderated panel with one expert-organizer serving as the moderator (Elizabeth Mynatt). 4 plenary authors give a quick position statement and then get into discussion.
Coffee Break 10:30 am - 11:00 am
11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Paper Sessions and Follow-up Q&A. Participants will share their papers with a 5-minute presentation. Papers will be pre-organized by emerging themes, with each session concluding in a panel where all the authors will collectively answer questions.

Poster Spotlights. Attendees walk the room and engage with poster presenters.

Introduction to Pitches – Breakout Groups. Three breakout pitches authors present their works and their need for feedback.
4:40 pm - 5:30 pm
(40 minutes)
Pitch Breakout Group Brainstorming. Attendees are asked to join their preffered breakout groups and engage with the presenters and provide feedback on their work.
5:30 pm - 5:45 pm
(15 minutes)
Breakout Group Feedback. One member from each group summarizes their discussions to the audience members. (5 minutes each group max)
5:45 pm - 6:00 pm
(15 minutes)
Closing. Organizers will wrap up the proceedings and will synthesize key takeaways from the day to facilitate building of a research community that can continue to collaborate and discuss ideas beyond the workshop.
