I am a specially-appointed lecturer in Yagi. Lab, iLDi, D3 center, the University of Osaka, working with Professor Yasushi Yagi. My research focuses on biometric recognition, with a particular emphasis on gait recognition. My work includes gait-based identity recognition, age and gender estimation, and continuous authentication.
I am also involved in the Moonshot R&D Project "Realization of a Society that can Use Cybernetic Avatars Safely and Securely" led by Prof. Fumio Shimpo, where I work on the collection of multi-biometric data to ensure secure teleoperator authentication. In addition, I am exploring EEG-based biometric identification to develop more robust and reliable authentication methods in natural scenarios.
