Achievements

The CyberPatriot competition began in October 2023 and ran through January 2024. We had 4 full-teams (the most Chapel Hill High has ever had) place in the highest tiers of the competition. Our teams faced advanced challenges in network security, end-device security, SCADA systems, and more! Placements are as follows:

• Team A - 1st Place in Platinum Tier, NC Open Division; Semifinalists, Top 100 in Platinum Nationally

• Team B - 3rd Place in Gold Tier, NC Open Division

• Team C - 5th Place in Platinum Tier, NC Open Division 

• Team D - 4th Place in Gold Tier, NC Open Division; Semifinalists, 5th in Gold Nationally

The SkillsUSA NC SLSC took place during the week of April 22nd, 2024. We had 9 members from our club compete in IT-related competitions. We had members place on the podium in 4 competitions and had a member place second nationally at the NLSC! State placements are as follows:

• Internetworking - 1st (+2nd nationally!), 2nd, and 3rd

• IT Services - 1st and 2nd

• Computer Programming - 1st

• Telecommunications Cabling - 1st and 2nd

• Related Technical Math
