Braids - Trenzas
Barrio Braids has become one of my biggest blessings since the move. First and foremost, I give thanks to God for the gift and the drive I have to push through and put myself out there as a braider. I'm a self-taught braider who has been learning for over 15 years now and it all began with me wanting to be able to braid my own hair and then became a mom of two girls who became my models. I know most people have their niche and specialize in a certain style of braiding, but I have yet to limit myself to one particular style. Below you can view the variety of styles and I also love to be sent 'inspirational' pictures of styles I can branch out to try. I appreciate all the support from clients, customers, and just referrals because it all has benefitted me in the best ways.

I understand that kids may not sit still, they get uncomfortable easily, and sometimes they just need to take breaks in between. I have experience in braiding children of a variety of ages, as well as many who are on the spectrum or have special needs. I just ask in advance for parents to advise me in the information as far as their age, to accommodate the time frame, snacks, etc.

Braiding prices vary depending on many different factors. Things like the style, if the intended style is with or without extensions, and the length or desired length of the style. I will ask for a picture of your hair to be able to give an accurate quote.
I will begin this year with charging a 30% non-refundable deposit in order to secure your date and time. If you are past 15 minutes late, cancel last minute, can't show up, and can't reschedule within a weeks' time, the deposit will be lost.
Now, once you show up to your appointment ON TIME, the deposit will be applied to the total.
At this time, I do not carry hair on hand due to lack of storage space, but once I am able to change that, prices will be adjusted to include hair.

Please note that many things go into the pricing for braids. It is important to reach out beforehand to be able to go over hair texture, length, desired length, and to send over any inspirational pictures for the desired design. I also provide preferred hair brands for those who are looking to get styles with extensions, tips on how to come prepared for your appointments, and the location being I currently work from my home. I occasionally travel as well, as long as we make the arrangements in time to plan ahead.
