1. Data Collection and Local Storage Chewsy Meals is designed with a "Privacy First" approach for your personal data. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, transmit, or store your personal profile data on our external servers. All core app data—including your dietary preferences, favorite meals, and custom meal lists—is saved entirely locally on your device's internal storage using native Android file systems.
2. Third-Party Advertising and Analytics (Google AdMob) To support the ongoing development of Chewsy Meals, the free version of the App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
Google AdMob automatically collects certain technical information to serve ads, provide analytics, and prevent fraud. This data is collected and shared with Google and may include:
Device or other IDs (such as Android Advertising ID)
App interactions (how you interact with the app and ads)
Crash logs and diagnostics (to monitor app performance and stability)

Note: Users who purchase the "Pro" upgrade will have all Google AdMob tracking and advertisements completely disabled.
3. Camera and Photo Library Access The App requests access to your device's Camera and Photo Gallery exclusively for the "Custom Meals" feature (a Pro feature).
On-Device AI Moderation: When you upload a photo of a meal, the App uses Google ML Kit to scan the image to ensure it contains food. This scan happens 100% locally on your device. The image is never sent to the cloud or viewed by Skender Interactive Studios.
Storage: Approved photos are saved directly to your device's secure, private app folder. We do not have access to these files.
4. In-App Purchases and Financial Data Chewsy Meals offers a "Pro" upgrade via an in-app purchase. All transactions are securely processed and managed by the Google Play Billing Library. We do not collect, view, or store your credit card information, billing address, or personal financial details. Your purchase history is tied to your Google Account and managed entirely by Google.
5. Location and Third-Party Links When you use the "Order" feature to find a local restaurant, Chewsy Meals generates a standard search query (e.g., "Sushi restaurant") and passes it to your device's default mapping application (such as Google Maps). We do not track your location. The App relies entirely on your device's native map application to handle the geographical search. Please review the privacy policy of your map provider for details on how they handle your location data.
6. Data Retention and Deletion Because your personal data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete all your saved favorites, dietary profiles, and custom meal photos at any time simply by:
Clearing the App's data in your Android Settings.
Uninstalling Chewsy Meals from your device.
7. Children's Privacy Chewsy Meals is a utility app intended for general audiences. Because we do not collect personal identifying information or transmit it to our own servers, we do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's features or legal requirements. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
