Bio: I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in Statistics at Ahmedabad University. Previously, I was a lecturer at Washington University in St Louis, USA. Prior to this, I was a Post-doctoral researcher at DBEI, UPenn working with Dr Ian Barnett . I obtained my Ph.D. in statistics and MA in Statistics from Department of Statistics at University of Missouri - Columbia (Mizzou), under the supervision of Dr Dongchu Sun. I completed my Bachelor in Statistics from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata .
Research: My interests lies in High-Dimensional Data Analysis, Network Analysis, and Bayesian Methods with applications to biomedical datasets such as single-cell RNA sequencing datasets, SNP genotyping datasets.
Teaching: I have taught many courses covering Optimization Methods, Statistical Inference, Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics, Longitudinal data analysis to undergraduate and graduate students. I have also supervised student projects.
