As per NAAC peer team member suggestion in 2003 library activities should be computerised. The College library has purchase SLIM21 library software and all the major activates likes acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, & Serial Control haven been Computerised. OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) made available.
1) Home Lending :

The counter for home lending is kept open between 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. on all working days of the week. Students, Teachers and Research Scholars can borrow books from this counter. Generally students are issued two books at a time for one week time and teachers can borrow up to 20 books at a time for a period of Academic year.

The staffs of the library, especially the librarian and the assistant librarian helps the readers in finding their queries. Readers are also provided with relevant documents, which are of their interest. They are also shown the technique of finding information through computerized database as well as Manual Databases.

List of content pages of the Periodicals/Magazines is given to the readers on demand. College is also buying Daily Newspapers in two sets, one for teachers and second one for the students. These news papers are kept in the Reading Hall and staff common room.

It is an on demand service. List of reference books and other materials is provided to the faculty and students. The list of new arrivals is also given to respective departments and the research scholars.

Online Public Access Catalogue has been provided on all 15 computer nodes of the library. Out of which 3 nodes are kept for students. The OPAC is also linked to the library portal www.chetanalibrary.webs.com in through the link address http://202.189.248.118:8080/w27/. This link provides students and teachers access to library resources 24 X 7.

The College Library provides inter library loan facility to its readers to cater to the extra reading needs of its readers.

The library has eight nodes for Internet browsing. These computers are provided with CD and PEN drives and also a laser printer is provided in sharing connectivity. Our readers can make a soft as well as hard copy of the information they want.

Book Bank facility is provided to Economically Backward Class Students on request of their requisite forms. Due notice of Book Bank is published on all the notice boards at the time of admissions. There are two book bank schemes provided by the college.
OPEN Book Bank :
This book bank scheme is run for the Economically Backward/ Other Backward Class Students. Books regarding syllabus are issued to students for the whole year and taken back after final examination is over.
BC Book Bank :
This book bank scheme is run for the SC/ST Category Students. Books regarding syllabus are issued to students for the whole year and taken back after final examination is over. University of Mumbai, Mumbai provides funds for this scheme every year.

Reading Hall of the library remains open till 8.00 pm during examinations. Students take the advantage of this library service on large scale.

One Reprography machine installed in library for provided service for academic purpose.

Newly procured books are displayed on new arrival display rack. Every month list of new books purchased is displayed on library notice board.

Reading facility is also made available to students of other colleges & Other people who are preparing other competitive exam.

Library Orientation Programme: Every year the library conducts Library Orientation program for new comers in order to make them aware of the library facilities available for them.
Book Exhibition: Every year the college library holds the book exhibition cum sale event to have a glance at recent publications and to facilitate bulk purchase of books. This has been a prominent event of our college library. The College library hold two days book exhibition in the library. Our students and Staff members have selected a good book for libraries and their personal reading.
Newspaper clipping Service: Library has been use to give different subjects newspaper clipping services to library users. Following subjects Newspaper clipping services are available in library.

Best Library User Award: Every year the college library gives “Best Library User Of The Year Award” to the students who make the best possible use of library facilities and spend quality time in the library. The award carries a certificate and a trophy.
Book Review Competition: To inculcate the reading habits among the students and motivate them to read good books in the Internet Era, and aware them current as well as classic literature the library department arrange Book Review competition for all students. Students who write best review on book and present his opinion to judge is felicitated award carries a cash money and certificate to students.
Exhibition on Special Occasion: On the birth anniversary of our national leaders like Mahatma Gandhi (2nd October), Dr. B.R.Ambedkar (14th April), A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (15th October) etc. an exhibition of books on these personalities is displayed.
Special Collection: A special collection of National Leaders such as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi is kept for ready reference and in addition to that separate collection such as Research Methodology and competitive examination books are kept for the readers.
