Hi there, I'm Chetan Ralekar, currently working as an Assistant Professor at Mehta Family School for Data Science and AI, IIT Guwahati, and a Research Affiliate at MIT. Before that, I was a Visiting Faculty at IIT Roorkee. Prior to this, I was working as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, MIT. I was working with Prof. Pawan Sinha at MIT and investigating the brain's mechanism of learning and plasticity. 

Before joining MIT, I completed Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering, at IIT Delhi working under the supervision of Prof. Tapan Kumar Gandhi and Prof. Santanu Chaudhury.  My doctoral work aimed at developing intelligent character recognition models inspired by cognitive experiments.
