Our History

Chestnut Works is the name two high school students gave their local snow removal service that served the Chestnut Hill, Mt. Airy, and Wyndmoor neighborhoods starting in 2012. Since then this small snow shoveling service has expanded to also provide lawn care, dog walking, and odd jobs services to the Northwest neighborhoods of Philadelphia.

Founded by two lifelong friends, Chestnut Works gave two hard working high school students an opportunity to connect with their neighbors, get experience managing a small business, and save for college. The founders, Nate and Jasper, are still dedicated to the idea to grow this business and help connect trusted high school and college students with neighbors as another option to make money on weekends and during the summer.
