The app does not require an account, does not contain advertising, does not use analytics or tracking services, and does not require internet access.
Information you enter into Chess Clock Pro remains stored locally on your device and is used only to provide the app's features.
Chess Clock Pro does not collect your personal information. However, the app may store certain information locally on your device so that its features can function properly.

Player names are entered by you. You may use nicknames or any other names you choose.
Chess Clock Pro does not collect:

Device identifiers
Advertising ID
Usage or behavioral data
Account credentials
Game data or tournament data
Analytics data
Tracking information
Chess Clock Pro does not require or use internet access to operate.
The app's core features, including the chess clock, game history, tournaments, statistics, presets, and widget, work locally on your device.
Chess Clock Pro uses only the permissions necessary for its features.
The app may use vibration for:
Haptic feedback
Low-time warnings
Other clock-related notifications
On Android 13 and newer versions, the app may request notification permission when you enable the paused-game notification feature.
Notifications are used only to remind you that a chess game is paused. The app remains fully functional if notification permission is denied.
Chess Clock Pro may check whether a text-to-speech engine is available on your device so that it can provide optional voice announcements.
Speech is generated by the text-to-speech service available on your device. Chess Clock Pro does not send your information to a remote speech service.
Information stored by Chess Clock Pro is used only to provide the app's functionality, including:
Running chess clocks
Saving and displaying game history
Calculating statistics
Managing tournaments
Managing players
Saving presets and favorites
Providing the home-screen widget
Saving your app preferences
Resuming unfinished games
Exporting games as PGN
Your locally stored information is not used for advertising, profiling, behavioral tracking, or marketing.
Chess Clock Pro does not automatically share your information.
When you explicitly choose an action such as:
Share
Export PGN
Open in another chess application
Share a result image
the app creates the relevant file and passes it to the application you select through Android's sharing system.
Once you choose another application, the handling of that information is governed by that application's own privacy policy.
No information is shared unless you explicitly initiate the sharing or export action.
Your Chess Clock Pro data is stored in the app's private storage on your device.
Data remains on your device until you:
Delete it from within the app
Clear the app's storage
Uninstall the app
If Android backup is enabled on your device, Android may include application data such as games, presets, and settings in a device backup or device-to-device transfer.
Such backup services are provided and controlled by Google. AJ Tech does not have access to your Google account backups.
You can manage Android backup settings through your device's system settings.
Files temporarily created for sharing or exporting may be stored in the app's temporary cache. Android may automatically remove these temporary files.
You can remove all locally stored Chess Clock Pro data by:
Android Settings → Apps → Chess Clock Pro → Storage → Clear storage
You can also remove the data by uninstalling the app.
Chess Clock Pro does not contain:
Advertising services
Analytics services
Tracking services
Crash-reporting services
User-profiling services
The app's features operate locally on your device.
If you download Chess Clock Pro through Google Play, Google may independently collect certain information associated with the installation or use of the app, subject to Google's own privacy policies and your device or account settings.
This information is collected and controlled by Google, not by AJ Tech.
Chess Clock Pro is suitable for users of all ages.
Because the app does not collect personal information, AJ Tech does not knowingly collect personal information from children, including children under 13 or the applicable minimum age in their country.
Because Chess Clock Pro does not collect or maintain personal information on AJ Tech's servers, we do not possess a personal-data database associated with individual users.
Depending on your jurisdiction, privacy laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or applicable U.S. privacy laws may provide rights relating to personal information.
Since the app's data remains on your device, you can manage your information directly through the app or your device, including by viewing, editing, exporting, or deleting it.
Because your Chess Clock Pro data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to AJ Tech's servers, AJ Tech does not maintain a remote database containing your game or player information.
You should still protect your device using appropriate security measures such as a device passcode, biometric authentication, and current operating-system updates.
We may update this Privacy Policy when necessary to reflect changes to the app, its features, or applicable requirements.
When changes are made, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
If a future version of Chess Clock Pro begins collecting or transmitting personal information, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe that collection before or when the applicable version is released.
