CHESS EVOLUTIONS

Chess Evolutions collects only the information required to run the game and sync your progress:
• Contact info: email address and display name (username) when you sign up.
• Sign-in identifiers: a Google or Apple user id, only when you use those sign-in options.
• Gameplay data: your win/loss/draw counts, rating, custom armies, active skin, and completed-match history.
• Purchase records: a Stripe checkout session id and the coin pack you purchased. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles that.
• Technical logs: standard server request logs (IP address, timestamp, endpoint) kept short-term for debugging.
• We do not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, calendar, or photos.
• We do not run third-party analytics, ad SDKs, or attribution SDKs.
• We do not sell or share your data with brokers or advertisers.
Your email, display name and gameplay data power sign-in, the rankings leaderboard, multiplayer matchmaking, and cloud sync of your custom armies across devices. Purchase records are used only to credit stars to your account.
We share limited data only with the service providers we need to run the app: Stripe (payments) and Emergent (hosting, Google OAuth relay). Each of those is a data processor bound by their own privacy terms; we do not share your data for their independent use.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from inside the app, under Profile → Delete Account. Deletion removes your user record, armies, match history, and purchase records from our database and cannot be undone.
Chess Evolutions is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and bump the date at the top. Material changes will also be surfaced on first launch after the update.
