The Birchwood 10K, held on 17 August 2025, was the sixth round of the GP competition. Congratulations to Louise Blizzard (Warrington Athletic Club), who was the winner of the female race by position, and Nicky Mowat (Wilmslow Running Club), who was the winner by age category. In the men's race, Jack Pilkington (Warrington Athletic Club) took the victory by position, while Graham Crewe (Wilmslow Running Club) was the victor by age category.
In the team competitions, Wilmslow Running Club were the winners in both competitions for the females. For the males, Widnes Running Club were victorious by position, and Wilmslow Running Club won the competition by age category.
In the overall standings after six rounds, Sue Stockdale (Macclesfield Harriers & Athletic Club) leads both the female competitions. Richard Wood (South Cheshire Harriers) is in front in both the men's competitions. Vale Royal AC lead both the female team competitions, while Macclesfield Harriers lead both the male team tables.

Wednesday 6 Aug saw round 5 of the GP competition at the Pie and Peas 5.
Congratulations to Faye Sharpley of Macclesfield Harriers & Athletic Club in the females by position competition, and Aaron Doyle of Vale Royal Athletic Club in the males by position. In the age-graded competitions, Rosemary Symms of Chester Triathlon Club was the winner for the females, and John Myers of Helsby Running Club was victorious in the males competition.
In the team competitions, Macclesfield Harriers & Athletic Club were the winners in both the positions and age-graded competitions for the females. Vale Royal Athletic Club were the winners in both the males by positions and males by age-graded competitions.

Thursday night saw round 4 of the GP competition at Dunham Massey 5K. Congratulations to Faye Sharpley (Macclesfield Harriers) in the females by position competition, Jonathan Smith (Lymm Runners) in males by position, Ann-Marie Jones (Macclesfield Harriers) in females by age category and Phil Rowen (Lymm Runners) in males by age category, who were our winners on the night. For the teams, Macclesfield Harriers were the winners in both competitons for the females and Lymm Runners were victorious in both competions for the males.
Vale Royal AC are winning both female teams competitions, whilst strong results on the night see Macclesfield Harriers in front in the male tables.
Many thanks to the eagle-eyed readers who spotted the errors from the previous round - this has now been corrected, with the round 3 results and overall tables amended.

At Christleton 5K on Friday night, Louisa Whittingham (Wilmslow Running Club) took victory in the female competition by both positions and age grading. In the men's race, Aaron Doyle (Vale Royal Athetic Club) was the victor in the position competition, whilst Peter Speake (Wilmslow Running Club) took the honours by age grading.
In the overall tables after 3 rounds, Louise Walker (Vale Royal Athletics Club) leads the female competitions, both by position and age grading. Richard Wood (South Cheshire Harriers) leads the men's table by position, whilst Stuart Doyle (Vale Royal Athletics Club) is in front by age grading.
In the team competitions, Vale Royal AC lead both tables for the females and South Cheshire Harriers lead both competitions for the males.

Results from round 2 (Crewe 10K) have now been published - apologies fore the delay.
Congratulations to Katie Ward (Vale Royal AC), Carl Moulton (Boalloy Running Club) and Matthew Lynas (Macclesfield Harriers & AC) who triumphed in the individual competitions for female (positions and age-graded), male (positions) and male (age-graded) respectively. In the team competition, South Cheshire Harriers were the winners in both the female and male competitions by positions. In the age-graded competition, Vale Royal AC (female) and Boalloy Running Club (male) triumphed.

The age-graded scores from Wilmslow have now been corrected. Due to results from the 10K being included in the results file, this was resulting in some erroneous scores. The overall tables have now also been updated.
Please note that there will be a delay publishing the results from round 2 (Crewe 10K); these should go out on the Wednesday following the race.

This morning saw the opening round of the 2025 Cheshire Grand Prix. Louisa Whittingham (Wilmslow Running Club) was the winner in the individual female competition, with Aaron Doyle (Vale Royal AC) winning in the male category. In the individual age-graded competition, Marie Sadler (Warrington Running Club) and Stephen Manley (Congleton Harriers) took the honours.
In the teams competition, Wilmslow Running Club were victorious in the female competition, with Vale Royal AC winning in the males.
We are aware of an anomaly in some of the age-graded scores, which is impacting the team age-graded scores, hence these have not yet been published. These results should follow in the coming days.
