About me

I am an astrophysicist at the Paris Observatory (Meudon) where I hold a Chaire de Professeur Junior (CPJ) position at the CNRS.  I am also Associate Professor at the Institute of Cosmos Sciences at the University of Barcelona (ICCUB, Spain) and an Affiliate Member of the Kavli IPMU (Japan). My primary research projects are VIA LACTEA supported by a Starting Grant from the European Research Council (ERC) which I share between the France and Spain together with an ANR project as part of my CPJ appointment.

Previously, I was a Kavli Fellow (2020-2021) at the Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (IPMU) at the University of Tokyo (Japan), a CITA National Fellow (2017-2019) at the University of Victoria (Canada) and a Junior Fellow of the Simons Society of Fellows (2014-2017) at the University of Columbia in the City of New York (USA). I did my PhD in Germany at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics (2010-2014) with Simon D. M. White. I studied Natural Sciences (Astrophysics) as an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge (2006-2010) in the UK, where I spent most summers working at the Institute of Astronomy.
