Welcome to my homepage

I am a Lecturer in Applied Economics at the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development of University of ReadingMy interests lie in the field of agricultural, health and development economics. Most of my research focuses on understanding how government policies may drive changes in household food purchases and thus promote healthier diets. 


My current research looks at the impacts of different policies aimed at promoting healthy and sustainable diets. I am also working on a discrete choice experiment to design innovative policies for healthier food choices. I have a research interest in identifying the influence of homeworking on physical activity as well as the linkage between energy use and health outcomes. I hold a PhD in Economics from University of Kent and a MSc in Applied Economics from University of Nottingham. 


Prior to joining Reading, I was an Assistant Professor at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine where I continue to hold an honoary position. I am also an Honoary Lecturer at the University of Exeter Medical School.
