Our humanitarian missions are crafted using the same principles that guide USAID’s worldwide emergency and development logistics. In the real world, USAID deploys aircraft to deliver food, medicine, shelter materials, and specialized personnel into regions struck by disaster, instability, or long-term infrastructure challenges.
In ChernAir Virtual, we bring that same philosophy into the simulator by focusing on realism, adaptability, and situational accuracy. Each campaign mirrors a real humanitarian need—whether responding to extreme weather events, assisting populations isolated by terrain, or supporting long-term recovery efforts.
Rotating Global Campaigns That Shift Focus
Rather than remaining fixed in one part of the world, our humanitarian operations are built around temporary, region-specific campaigns. Each campaign has its own theme, storyline, operational needs, and environmental challenges.
These campaigns rotate regularly, reflecting how real humanitarian organizations move from crisis to crisis as global needs change. Once a campaign ends, we transition to a new region, bringing fresh terrain to conquer, new mission types, and new flight opportunities for every pilot.
A Dedicated Humanitarian Operations Hub for Each Campaign
Each campaign is anchored by a specially designated Humanitarian Operations Hub—a central airfield in the active region that functions as the beating heart of our relief efforts.
This hub serves as:
The main dispatch point for missions
The logistical center for cargo and personnel operations
The staging location for all relief aircraft
The anchor for FS Hub’s dynamic mission generation
When the next campaign begins, the humanitarian hub relocates as well, introducing pilots to completely new geographical challenges, weather patterns, and operational constraints.
Dynamic Mission Generation
To replicate the unpredictable nature of real humanitarian flying, we rely heavily on FS Hub’s dynamic mission system. All missions are automatically generated around the temporary humanitarian hub, providing a constantly refreshing stream of relief flights such as:
Cargo runs delivering urgent supplies
Short-field flights to remote communities
Medical evacuation missions
Personnel transfers and regional shuttles
Long-haul aid transport from international staging airports
High-priority operations triggered by simulated regional events

Campaign-Exclusive FS Hub Achievements
Every campaign includes a unique set of FS Hub achievements designed specifically for that event. These achievements are:
Exclusive to the active campaign
Earnable only during the current operational period
Focused on missions, distances, aircraft types, or region-specific challenges
Once the campaign ends, those achievements are retired permanently and replaced with new ones for the next region. This gives pilots a powerful incentive to participate while the campaign is active and collect rare badges that reflect their dedication to humanitarian flying.
