Growing up in the rural heartlands of Missouri, I often faced ridicule for my California roots and my dream of returning to the Golden State. Many people I've met, both in Missouri and elsewhere, hold a narrow view of California, imagining it as a land dominated by sprawling cities and endless urban landscapes. This couldn't be further from the truth. This journey of photography is driven by a deep desire to showcase the often-overlooked natural splendor of Northern California.
