SDM Conference

The Science of Decision Making (SDM) conference provides a platform for scholars to exchange ideas and collaborate on advancing research in decision making. The workshop is open to all approaches and modalities, encouraging a diverse range of perspectives. 

With Soo Hong Chew we organized the inaugural SDM at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2023. For the subsequent conferences, Songfa Zhong and Rui Tang joined as co-organizers. The second SDM was held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2024, followed by the third at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), Chengdu in 2025. Besides the organizers, David Dillenberger, Shaowei Ke, and Wooyoung Lim were the early supporters and contributors of the conference.

The next SDM conference will be held in Hong Kong, to be hosted by HKUST on June 22-24, 2026.
