Chengwei is an expert on behavioral strategy and executive decision making. His research turns decision biases on their head and he translates the insights into teaching executives (a) how to draw on behavioral science knowledge to search for contrarian opportunities and then utilizing data analytics to formulate a specific exploitation strategy to gain a competitive advantage, i.e., “Analytical Behavioral Strategy”; (b) how to "nudge" leaders and stakeholders to improve decision making; (c) how to engineer diversity within organizations and their ecosystem to enhance creativity and innovation.


Chengwei taught at Warwick, Cambridge, Oxford, National University of Singapore, Peking University, Boston University and has won 20+ excellent teaching awards since 2012. He now leads executive education modules on Nudging Organizational Changes and Creating Strategic Advantage.
