Dr. Chengda Ji (纪成达) is an incoming quantitative researcher at Five Dimension Energy. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 2023.
Previously, he was a quantitative researcher at Five Rings, where he led the energy research team. His work focused on applying mathematical modeling and engineering analytics to transform system and market signals into actionable trading insights across a diverse range of assets.
He is currently on garden leave as of March 2026 during a contractual non-compete period.
