Biography

I am a CS PhD candidate at Johns Hopkins University and a member of the Artificial Intelligence for Engineering and Medicine (AIEM) Lab, advised by Prof. Rama Chellappa. In the past, I have worked with Prof. S. Kevin Zhou at USTC and Dr. Daguang Xu at NVIDIA. I obtained my MSc and BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.

I am broadly interested in 3D computer vision. In particular, I have published several works in 3D image reconstruction, super-resolution, semantic segmentation, and view synthesis from a single image. A common theme in my work is to incorporate imaging physics and domain adaptation techniques to ensure robustness, especially with respect to healthcare applications.

For those interested, I have recently organized a tutorial on 2D-3D modelling in medical imaging in MICCAI 2021.
