Yiyang Chen
Dr. Yiyang Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience, specializing in Bayesian statistics, hierarchical methods, and cognitive modeling. Her research focuses on developing and implementing advanced quantitative methods to improve the characterization of group and individual differences. She is passionate about teaching statistics and research methods courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She earned her PhD in Quantitative Psychology from The Ohio State University in 2022. Before arriving at Nova Southeastern University, she worked as a Statistician in Clinical Psychology at the University of Kansas and a Postdoctoral Fellow in Cognitive Psychology at Indiana University.
