Classes are suitable for beginners
To learn Chen Tai Chi simply requires regular practice
The Chen class one hour structure is -
1) Silk Reeling ( Chan Si Jin - Fundamental Chen Tai Chi movement exercises) 10 minutes.
2) Laojia postures 1-15 (short form) plus postures 16-74 ( completes the traditional Chen form) 35 minutes.
3) Sword forms for Health (only wooden swords or canes will be used - walking sticks are also suitable!) So no metal swords please. Chen sword forms extend the flow of Chi and are a natural progression to promote health. Plus improve focus, coordination and endurance. (Includes developing Fajin - explosive power) 15 minutes.
