Hello readers, I`m arrive SA at 8/29, it`s long distance from Taiwan to SA about  15 hours. 

1, Rotary activity:

    Well, I join Rotary activity only three times in this September. First was 9/18

morning, my consulate"Jackie"also is president from club i stayed, exchange student from Mexico"Jose"and I, we went to old age house for presentation, and this is first time I do presentation. I thought it will be a mistake, but in the process, old people they laughed and smiled. Second was night in same day, this one was doing presentation to rotary club I stayed, well, they very love my presentation, also the other exchange student"Beba"from Italy say my presentation is better than her, I think that is because I`m Asian guy, the culture between here and Taiwan is very different, that why they curious about Chinese culture so much. the last one is from today, four Rotary club presidents meeting, "Leon", Jackie`s husband also is Rotarian, we went to supermarket this morning to preparing ingredients for this meeting, when we go back home, we busied with those foods. I washed all of vegetable, Leon cooked Italian food for them, and in this meeting we have good conversation with others Rotary presidents.

2, SA`s life:

    From first day to now, the most make me satisfied thing is foods, for example, double cheese burger, it`s huge and more flavored one in here,

if I want to finish this food in Taiwan, it will be very easy for me, but the burger from here, make me feel full all the times. About school life, 

because they take exam for three weeks from this whole month, that means I can`t go to school now, so there`s Rotarian called"Rita"she has 6 restaurants 

in this place, she took me to one of them, and learn how to making a delicious foods in here. It was hard, because I`m working in a fast food restaurant, pressure and blame is common in here, and this make me know how hard to earn money. and my host brother"Katlego"people called him chef, because he can cook, and very time I taste his cuisine, I`m glad I stay in this host family. Sometimes we will went to the church doing some youth event, and making friend in here, it is a good experiment. 

3. Challenge& Struggle:

  First time I`m here i can`t understand what are they talking about, make me confusing, or when I`m going to order something, it`s not easy for me to look menu, because there`s some word i never seem before. There was a time I`m 

working in another Rotarian`s restaurant, and it is a fast restaurant. Because i didn`t know what are those employee says and I mess 1 order, make me embarrassed. So now I`m very carefully and concentrate to listen what everyone says

in English.

  I met my councilor about 4 times.

Hello readers, the time in here is very fast ,

I even can`t image i already in SA for two months.

1. Rotary activity:

    This months we got a lot of activity in Rotary club over 5~6 things we done, like 4 times club meeting,or all the exchange student`s most be someplace to attend outbound student`s presentation. so first i want to talk about Rotary meeting. In 1 time I won a champagne and I`m first exchange student who win the price from Rotary foundation`s game, and I was crazy for that. About orientation of outbound, that is also first time all the exchange students be together, and we heard some of outbound student`s presentation include my host bother Katlego, and there`s also have a student who is going to Taiwan, Earl. He is going to South of Taiwan, D3500. there`s a book store it`s from Rotary club, we go to help to clean it up, me, Beba, and mikaira, after we clean all the book in book store and we do the BBQ in that place, also is me, doing the Braai , because for learn how to do the Braai.

2.SA`s life:

    October is the months that I had done a lot of things, first, is my second host, Mr willie, I call him Pa. In two weeks we are doing the exercise, we walking for 8 Km, or climb the mountain for 10 Km, its tough time to do those things but i still made it, so I proud of myself. Second, when i go to school in this month, I

met a lot of new people or learned new subject in school, well,the best thing in school is after school, they after school at 13 pm each day, and that is what I

love in school. they got a lot of activity in here, i been meme day to wear weird clothes to school, or principle`s birthday we dressed like cowboy and cowgirl, and there`s horse came to school also celebrate birthday

. Third,i cooked Chinese food in SA, and its was bad, because I don`t know how to cook, but after that, i check Youtube and start to learn how to make Chinese dishes for them. 

3. Challenge and struggle:

    Language, still is problem. And recently I`m learning new language, call Afrikaans. and here got 11 language in here 2 for White people, and others 9 for Black people, well i just can say language is hard to learn, especially is Afrikaans in here, even students don`t like that subject.

    I met my councilor about 9 times and chat with her everyday.

Hello readers, this month go to new host family, his name is Willie,

and he is a nice host, he don`t have a child, but he got two lovely dogs and bee hive.

1. Rotary activity:

    November, it was a crazy month I ever been, because we been to CT for big tour, also it`s first time 

hang out with others Exchange students. Tour it`s about 9 days long, but some how I feel it`s been very fast, just like yesterday we still in airport, but today we have to go home, on the plan I check all the picture in my phone and make a wonderful video to memorize this memory, I remember we been to Table Mountain, Robben Island, Castle of good hope, or Mountain Bike with everyone, but the most make me impressive is Cape Point, because I saw the first Taiwanese who lived in CT for 20 years, and he is work in Taipei Liaison office in CT, and I was happy to seen him. Also the only exchange student in CT Alice from Belgium, although we only meet in this little time, but she make the promise to come to Joburg. When I come back to home, we make the Christmas tree in Vaal mall and it took us 4 hours to make it, but when it done, it`s very pretty and shinning, this month we also attend the outbound student`s party, Harco. It`s cool to join his party, especially listen her family say something to him, make me remind my family, so touching.

2.SA`s life:

    It was a good time, after we went to CT, Tuuli from Finland called everyone to her house to sleepover and do a lot of activity in a week. Well, it`s very awesome to stay in someone`s house and with lot of friends, we been to Gold Reef City, it is amusement park. i done the roller coaster in my first time, and it was very excited and I feel almost die when we are playing this equipment, later we go for lunch, but something happened, and we waited for 2 hours in lunch time, its was terrible time for each others, after that we go to another equipment, when we trying to go on, but they shut down the equipment, and everyone feel bad. Well, in this day some of students cooked dinner for everyone, me either. Beba from Italy, she cooked pasta. Ondro from Slovakia, he cooked something that contain strawberry. and me, I`m cooked fried rice and Ramen. And they all like the food we make. make me feel proud by myself.

3. Challenge and struggle:

    Well, just like those adult says, Asian people always stay with Asian people, never try to chatting with those foreigner students, and now i think i also got the same problem , sometimes i will feel lonely when i stop talking to anyone, feel very bad, but i found problem, the knowledge i know is not really much, so now I`m watching video, media to increase my knowledge, hope it`ll work.

Hello readers, this month is SA summer vacation. School is take off until next year January, and Willie(My second host), we`re planning to go to west of SA, to have a good time at the BEACH!!!

1. Rotary activity:

    This month is about relax, and about Rotary things, I`v selling the books for Rotary function, and visiting the Township with others exchange students. First is about township, exchange students from Johannesburg they come to Vanderbijipark to visit us, so one of Rotarian take us to township and have a meal there, and all the way we go to township show us how poor is here, people who sell vegetable and fruit for surviving by themselves on the street, and I know that feeling that people have to do this under the shinning sun. After seen the town we ate the meal at restaurant, and there`s a boss who running this store, he tell us about living in town when he was young and poor, but after his hard working he changed, and also everyone in this town know him, just cause he helping his hometown, and I also appreciate this boss who did this to his hometown. Second is selling the books, and this is my first time sell this books in SA, and we sell it in shopping center, at first i am feel very nervous to calling people to but the books, but after Gabreil(exchange from Brazil) give me some advice and encourage, I`m feel well, and concentrate to sell the books, and eventually we sell R1144 in one day.

2.SA`s life:

    Because exchange students come to our Vanderbijipark and I`m very happy they were here. My councilor

arrange two flat by the river, one for boys, one for girls, and the time in river we done a lot of things, like swimming in pool, watching the lake when sun is go down, or sleep outside for one night until sunrise, but I think the most cool thing is have a Christmas party in one night. We playing secret santa, and I`m Gabreil`s secret santa, I gave him a cool jacket from Chinatown, and he very like it, I`m also happy for he. My secret santa Jose(Exchange from Mexico), he also gave a black T-shirt, I`m also like that, "Thank you, Jose". The days I stay with Willie I`m very excited, because he teach me a lot of things, I learn cooking from him, and I also cook Taiwanese food for him, we both enjoy using food to increase relationship. But there`s one thing I`m appreciate, he take me and my friends to  Chinatown to check it out, and I found a lot of Taiwanese sneak and food, I`m also know the Taiwanese who lived there, they also from Taichung. and know I`m very well to lived with him "Willie".

3. Challenge and struggle:

    There`s a thing I was annoyed in this month, but this thing also teach me a thing. "Gabreil", he is a boy who with passion, but sometimes I don`t like him to judge me I`m act like a child, so there was a time at river, we were fight in flat and I left to the lake, but suddenly I was thinking I`m wrong because I always stay behind the conversation to everyone in Exchange Grope, that`s why Gabreil will judge me all the time, so I open my "What`s app" and tell Gabreil  I wasn`t mean to fight to him and I was sorry to say bad word to him, and after that we became a good friend, and yesterday Willie take us to "Parys" to visiting gallery, and we chill. This fight teach me I have to open my mind to everyone, 

don`t just sit behind and stop talking, that will let people feel you`re a weird guy or something, so "Thank you Gabreil".

    I was at river and I meet my councilor a lot of time, about 5 times for selling the books.

Hello readers, first i want to say "新年快樂", hope u have a good new year where ever u are.

1. Rotary activity:

    Actually in this month we didn`t do any Rotary activity, even the meeting, but this month is the big chance for my friend who is outbound student in SA. My first host family, Katlego, he go to Spain for his exchange, and another one konki, he go to Czech public, and last one Earl, he go to Taiwan for his one year project, when they leaving i`m really upset, but i`m also glad for them go to the place they want to go, even when i go back to Taiwan i can meet my friend Earl from Kaohsiung, so im very excited.

2.SA`s life:

    This month is fantastic, between the December 2019 to New Year 2020, me and my host dad we went to 

a place near Durban named Port Edward, we meet my dad`s family from there and do activity with them, 

in this activity we did the beach events, and zipline, or taste pancake from Mac fish. we really enjoy those things, but most of the things make me impressive is New Year, we celebrate at the beach from 11:59 until 12:00 next year, and in the progress we watch firework about 15 minute, it`s first time I saw firecrackers in SA. So about New year i also got a good news to tell, we`ve been to Pretoria`s Buddhist temple which called Nan Hua Temple, and they doing the Chinese new year in there, so my host dad bring me and one of his friend to go to see, and it make me feel home, I see a lot of Taiwanese selling the foods or stuffs, and I also do the communicate to those people, and its good experiment for my host Dad and his friend, I guess this is first time he did the festival like this.

3. Challenge and struggle:

    It`s been such a long time to stay in SA, i`m glad and surprise, but after a little bit time I feel boring and feel school is not that fun to me, but even that, school sometimes got some funny event for students, like sport day in this month, or everyone go to public pool for competition to each other.

I think my problem is I`m not that lively to do the things, i`m think i`m lazy. but this is not the end, so I must keep up, and now only got 6 months and i`m go home, so keep it up.

Hello readers, this is almost 6th months since i been to SA, and now the journey is going to finish pretty soon for me!

1. Rotary activity:

    This month I attend one of the meeting and the club is celebrating the Valentine`s day, I see people they giving the chocolates and roses to each other and that is quite fun, except that, my second host family "Willie Biggs", he is been invited to become one of the member in Rotary. Near the end of the February I go to selling the books for earning the function for Rotary again, actually this time is not that tired than last time,because i been very concentrate to sell the books an talk to the customers very much, and one of the customer is Chinese, so i`m very happy i sell the book to Chinese again. 

2.SA`s life:

    This month during is Valentine`s day, and the students in school will try to find a date during in that day. School will hold the dance party for students in evening, so my host dad gave me a good suit to join the dance, and i really like that suit, because it make me look like a real man. In the dance I met my date in that day, although we just chatting than dancing, but i`m still enjoy to spend the time with her in that day. In February me and my host dad we also do the hiking, and we hike about 20Km for this time, when we finish we such a tired horses lay on the floor and doing the deep breath.

Hello readers, Recently there`s a new virus comes out in all of the world. I`m very worry about my friends and family in Taiwan, Hope you guys  be safe and god bless everyone.

1. Rotary activity:

    This month is a best month in my SA life, But the only thing that I done in this month is help a restaurant to gave the foods for those people who are homeless. Jose and me, we serve the food and gave to them, the history of this restaurant was from a boy who was murder by someone, and the neighbor want to memorize him and running this store and gave people from nothing, we are very appreciate and thankful to serve these food for peoples.

2.SA`s life:

    Why I said this is the best month? Because I been to the national park in SA, and recently the virus spread out, unfortunately they cancel the tour from April. So it was a good time that my host father, me, and a friend of Willie to the Kruger National Park, we`ve been done a lot of activity, like zip line or shopping in the stores one by one, but the best things in the park is watching the animal for spend my time, some of the animal is rarely to be seen, like lion, cheetah, or rhino, but its to sad that we only saw zebra and giraffe a lot. but still, its a good experiment to have a chance to see these animal.

    Recentaly it`s a big serious in SA, South Africa is during the lock down now and everyone must stay in the house instead go outside, that means all the activity in my exchange year just stop from now, So its very sad that everyone 

can not see each other.

1. Rotary activity:

    During the lock down makes everyone suffer and painful, a lot of the problem during the lock down, like, thief or robber take everything in a store, or the poor do what ever they want in the night, its very sad to hear kind of thing like that, So Our Rotary club decide to make the action  to help the poor. Me and my Mexican friend Jose, go to somewhere that rotary is packing the foods and the clothes for those people in need. In the progress is very hard, but after we gave the stuff for the people, i`m feel proud of myself and glad i`m part of this.

2.SA`s life:

    After government go to Level 3 for lock down, people finally can do some activities, so Jose says he and his Host family gonna go to hunt and invite me to join them, and yeah, this is quiet new experiment for me, because i never did this in my life before. And unfortunately time been via too fast, after the hunt i`m only got 4 days to stay with mt host Dad, and I know what will happening later, just what i expect, the day I leave we both cry a lot like the pic on the topic, i wanna say thank you Willie, your kindness help me a lot.

    To leave the place that i`v been already stay for a year.
