Platform for collaboration

This series of workshops aims to serve as an interactive platform to encourage transdisciplinary collaboration. The format of the workshops will allow experts from different fields to work on interesting and important questions using new tools to move the fields forward. Chemistry, Life science and Physics are all about details on molecular sciences. Chemists synthesize new molecules, chemists and physicists develop new tools, biologists tackle how macromolecules work, and physicists establish models to understand how biological systems work based on quantitative data collected from biological studies. Considering the limited available manpower and resources on research, and the strong competition in science, transdisciplinary and complementary collaboration becomes especially important. We have witnessed how people from different fields make key contributions in our fields. We hope that this series of workshops serves as a long-term interacting platform to promote Taiwanese teams to make scientific breakthroughs.
