GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC THANE
DEPARTMENT OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING
The department of Chemical Engineering was established in 1996 with intake capacity of 60 students. The Department encourages holistic development of students in addition to class -room- teaching and laboratory practice. Students are made industry ready by providing them unique opportunities through industrial training ,aptitude related skills, soft skills, seminars, and industrial visits. Our Department encourage students to participate in seminars , projects competitions ,workshops, entrepreneurship training and inter college competitions. Students of our department are placed in reputed industries like Savita oils , Gharada Chemicals, BPCL, Cadbury Junction and Godrej Chemicals .In summary the Department Of Chemical Engineering at G.P.Thane strives hard to provide a holistic and hand – on learning environment to our students to create industry ready chemical engineers who can make impactful contributions to the world.
