Hello, fellow researchers and space enthusiasts!
I am a Principal Engineer at Sierra Space, where I dedicate my expertise and passion to push the boundaries of the space economy. My commitment to this groundbreaking field is evident in the numerous initiatives I spearhead, laying down the groundwork for a future where space exploration is more accessible and sustainable than ever.
My role at Sierra Space is multifaceted. From designing avant-garde catalysts for propulsion systems to exploring innovative methodologies that re-imagine space habitation, every day is an exciting blend of challenges and opportunities. I place a strong emphasis on scalability. For me, it's not just about developing technological marvels; it's about ensuring these advances transition seamlessly into production. This way, the visionary ideas we conceptualize can translate into tangible realities for the broader space community.
One of my core interests is addressing the intricate challenges of space exploration by innovating specialized technologies in areas where solutions currently do not exist. The cosmos is a vast, complex arena, and every discovery or advancement we make brings us one step closer to making space not just a frontier but a home.
A significant portion of my work revolves around catalyst development. Stable isolated site catalysts offer a fascinating potential bridge between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis. They promise well-defined and highly selective active centers, ushering in a new era of efficiency and specificity. Through rational catalyst synthesis methods, I've been able to craft a range of catalysts. My approach allows for meticulous control over the nano-catalyst structure right down to the atomic level. This precision enables me to engineer the surface of these minuscule catalyst nanoparticles, tailoring them to offer the precise functionality required for diverse applications.
For those with a shared passion for space, technology, and catalysis, I invite you to connect and collaborate. Together, let's shape the future, making the vast space economy not just a vision but a thriving reality.
