Getting to UCD

By Air

Dublin airport is ~30 minutes drive away. Transport by the number 700 Aircoach (1 hour) to Lepordstown. The Booterstown, Woodbine Road stop is opposite UCD (10 min walk). Coaches run regularly thorough the day and night. More details can be found here.

Alternatively travel by taxi is 30 mins to 1 hour (traffic dependent) .

By Rail

Heuston Station

Catch the 145 bus towards Ballywaltrim (~1 hour). The Booterstown, Woodbine Road stop is opposite UCD (10 min walk). Buses run regularly through the day.

Pearse station/Connolly Station

The 39a bus goes from D'Oiler Street/Nassau street to UCD. The bus stop is a 10 min walk across the city in both cases and will take ~40 mins. Alternatively taxis are plentiful in the city center and will take ~20 mins.

By Bus

There are several frequent bus services to and from Dublin City center.

By Car

Limited hourly paid parking is available on the University campus in designated car parks subject to a charge of €1 per hour or €2.40 per hour for premium rate parking spaces. More details can be found here.
