I'm Chelsiezhen Jeffery Gambung, but I prefer Chelsie most of the times. I was born in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on August, 2005 and I'm the second child out of four siblings. I find joy in both the tranquility of art and the complexity of science—one fuels my creativity, while the other challenges my curiosity and problem-solving skills. On my free time, I often find myself immersed in arts, painting or coloring for instance—although I'm not that skilled. It is one of the way for me to de-stress as life can be quite stressful sometimes.
People around me would always describe as a quiet storm—calm and distant at first, with walls built high. But once the right people step into my world, those walls disappear, and my energy flows freely, loud and full of life.
After finishing pre-U at Labuan Matriculation College (KML), I am now in my first year of Bachelor Of Science Industrial Chemistry With Honours at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Although it hasn't been long since I started uni, every experience so far has been a step toward growth. From adapting to a new learning environment to exploring different opportunities, I’m constantly evolving. Each challenge pushes me to improve, and every lesson shapes my perspective. As I navigate this journey, I look forward to discover new insights, building meaningful connections, and embracing the possibilities ahead.
Whenever I feel overwhelmed, hanging out with my friends would always help. These people are like a reminder for me to stay calm in difficult times, and somehow spending time with them make it feel like home. Whether it's grabbing a meal, exploring new places, or just having random conversations, it helps me relax and recharge. These moments remind me that it's important to balance work with enjoyment, making my university experience even more meaningful.
