Hello! My name is Chelsea Castillo. I am currently studying at AnimSchool with a focus in 3D Animation.
In 2018, while I was attending middle school, I would practice editing with different software programs (Final Cut Pro and Photoshop) during my free time and watching tutorials to improve. I discovered my passion for animation through the animations I began creating for a childhood game of mine. I learned all about key framing and parenting tools early on when I started to learn to use After Effects in June 2018 of that same year. When I began learning to use After Effects in June 2018, I learned all about key framing and parenting tools early on. Furthermore, I am very passionate about creating projects, primarily in the software programs Adobe After Effects and Blender. It brings me joy to come up with an idea, write out the concept, and bring it to life through my work. I have the same driven-passion when it comes to brainstorming ideas for a story or even a possible game I would like to create in the future.
A project I am most proud of is “Save the ocean” as it primarily focuses on the dangers of littering in an environment designated for animal life. This project was the catalyst that pushed me to develop purposeful storytelling skills through digital writing and visual hand-drawn images.
I am currently focused on continuing to develop my skills in 3D animation within Autodesk Maya. I would love to land an internship that can help me learn new creative techniques I may find useful for both personal and team-projects. My main goal is to pursue a career within the Animation industry, coming up with creative ideas to help the team or creating animated projects of my own.
Let’s create a fantastic project together!
