Welcome to Zikr & Dua – Daily Adhkar ("the App"), developed and maintained by AhleSunnatPak. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a safe, trustworthy experience for every user.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully.

2.1 Information You Provide
The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use its core features.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
When you use the App, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including:
• Device type, model, and operating system version
• App version and crash/error reports (via Google Play Console)
• General usage statistics (e.g. which features are opened) — anonymised and aggregated
• Device language and region settings (used only to display the correct language)
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personally identifiable information.
3. How We Use Information
Any information collected is used solely for the following purposes:
• To ensure the App functions correctly on your device
• To fix bugs and improve performance
• To understand which features are most used so we can improve them
• To ensure compatibility with different Android versions and screen sizes
4. Data Storage & Local Preferences
The App stores certain preferences locally on your device (such as selected language, dark/light mode, and notification settings). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
All Adhkar content, 99 Names of Allah data, and post-prayer azkar are bundled within the App itself and do not require an internet connection.

5.1 Google Play Services
The App is distributed via Google Play and may use Google Play Services for app updates and crash reporting. Google's Privacy Policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy
5.2 YouTube (Video Content)
Some Adhkar entries include links to YouTube videos for educational purposes. When you play a video, YouTube's Privacy Policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy. We do not embed videos in a way that tracks users within the App.
6. Advertising
The App does not contain advertisements. We do not use advertising SDKs, ad networks, or tracking pixels of any kind.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or any age, as we collect no personal information at all). Parents and guardians can allow children to use the App with confidence.
8. App Permissions
The App may request the following Android permissions and uses them only as described:
• INTERNET
Required only to load YouTube video links if you choose to watch them. Not used for tracking.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
Required to restore prayer time notifications after your device restarts.
• VIBRATE
Used for optional notification vibration only.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+)
Required to show daily Adhkar reminder notifications, only if you enable them.
9. Data Security
Because the App does not collect or transmit personal data, the risk to your privacy is minimal by design. Local preferences stored on your device are protected by Android's built-in application sandboxing. We do not operate any servers that store user data.
10. Data Sharing & Sale
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any user data with third parties. We have no data to sell.
11. Data Retention
Local preferences are retained on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data from your device settings. Crash reports (if any) are retained by Google Play Console for up to 90 days in anonymised form.
12. Your Rights
Even though we collect minimal data, you retain the following rights:
• Right to delete your local data: Simply uninstall the App or clear its data in your device Settings → Apps → Zikr & Dua → Clear Data.
• Right to opt out of crash reporting: You may disable this in Google Play settings on your device.
• Right to disable notifications: Manage notification permissions at any time from your device Settings.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document and publish the updated policy on our website. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
14. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes relating to this policy will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
