Fans waited a couple of years for Cheer season 2, and it's time to talk about how the season was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As the Navarro College Cheer Team (and the entire sport of cheerleading) was put on hold due to the coronavirus, the second season of the show was filmed in two different segments, with months in between. There is plenty to learn about the filming timeline for Cheer season two, and how it affected the cast.

Cheer season 2 showed the pressure that Navarro faced as the team tried to defend their championship title while splitting their focus between cheer and the media appearances that helped to satisfy their growing fan base. It also showed the fallout from Jerry Harris' arrest, after he was charged with soliciting intimate photos from minors. There were cast changes in the second season, as the 2020 NCA Championship was canceled due to the pandemic. Production for Cheer was also shut down. Some fan favorites appeared in the first half of season 2 and then revealed that they had left Navarro. This meant that other team members (and competitors, Trinity Valley) got to enjoy the spotlight.

Many fans were confused about the disrupted filming schedule and when each episode took place. Cheer season one had only six episodes, while season 2 has nine. The first four episodes of season 2 were filmed in January 2020, and fans watched as the cast of Cheer got the emotional news that they would not be able to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020. Production then halted until the next semester in September 2020. By that time, Gabi, Morgan, and La'Darius had already moved on from Navarro.,

Though production started in September 2020, the filming continued all through the year, up until April 2021, which was when the 2021 NCA Championship was held. Episode five was likely filmed after the production break, as it showed how Jerry's former teammates and coaches reacted to the news of his incarceration and included interviews with two of his victims. Cheer episodes six through nine were all filmed after the production break as well, in the seven months leading up to the final competition. In the season 2 finale, the obstacles Navarro faced were too much. and they ultimately lost the 2021 NCA Championship to their rivals at TVCC.

I loved the Bar Wars episodes of Cheers but I'm shocked that you thought the Mafia one was weak. I loved that Sam got his own back on his friends for siding with Gary in the episode where Sam thought he killed him.

For a majority of its 11 seasons that ran from September 1982 to May 1993, Cheers was the definition of must-see television. When Sam's regulars suspect the bar is turning gay, they launch an embarrassingly misguided homophobic witch-hunt. _Cheers _was mercifully short on issue-driven episodes, but "Boys" is a deft takedown of group-think gone awry.

Psychiatrist Frasier Crane, as portrayed by Kelsey Grammer, was a familiar, welcome face on must-see TV for 20 consecutive years spanning 203 episodes of Cheers, one guest appearance on Wings, and 264 episodes of his own sitcom, Frasier. And now, after a 19-year hiatus, one of television's most enduringly beloved characters is returning to the screen, headlining the Paramount+ revival of Frasier, which finds him returning to his old elbow-bending grounds in Boston and reconnecting with his increasingly distant son, Freddy, who's chosen a radically different life path as a firefighter.

For those viewers with hazy memories as well as an entire generation who've never experienced the particular splendors of the perpetually pompous, hilariously highbrow, romantically challenged, and endearingly exasperated psychiatrist-turned-broadcaster, that's a LOT of TV to be refreshed on or take in for the first time. Luckily, I've assembled a cheat sheet filled with episodes vital to helping understand the long road the good doctor has traveled and inform the new relationship dynamics that kick off Frasier's latest TV journey.

(These are the formative episodes, but with Bebe Neuwirth slated to return for a guest shot in the revival, virtually every Frasier-Lilith-centric Cheers and Frasier entry makes for delightful viewing that will also inform the ex-couple's eventual dynamic.)

Frasier's ever contentious, often poignant, always uproarious relationship with Martin fueled the series' laughter and warmth for eleven seasons and will deeply inform the generational and cultural clash he'll next experience with Freddy in the revival, and "The Good Son" and its subsequent episode "Space Quest" (Season 1, Episode 2) form a nifty bookend with the initial two episodes of the revival.

Most of the Frasier episodes focusing on Freddy are underlined by the psychiatrist's efforts to be a good father despite the long geographic distance between them. Two of the best occur as Freddy matures into a pre-teen and teen, where Frasier has to work harder to maintain a connection with his son: "Cranes Unplugged" (Season 8, Episode 10) finds Frasier, disappointed in electronics-immersed Freddy's indifference to the activities he's planned, forcing Freddy and Martin into a "bonding" camping trip; and "High Holidays" (Season 11, Episode 11), in which Frasier contends with Freddy's transformation into a disaffected Goth perpetually embarrassed by everything his father does.

Jasper is taunting the plant when Piper comes in to get cash. She explains that she needs to get stronger to carry Marci on her shoulder so she could join the cheerleader squad. Ray hears and gives her a "Captain Man Body Box" and she pays the cash she took from the cash register. She then gets mad about seeds in grapes and turns into a monster. She then goes to the cheerleaders and Captain Man, Kid Danger, and Schwoz go to stop her. She starts throwing cheerleaders, and then changes the score so that Swellview's team wins. She then stomps on Captain Man and Kid Danger and takes Schwoz. Captain Man and Kid Danger don't stop her.
