CheckIt Security Policy — What You Need to Know

Your privacy and security are our top priorities. Here’s how CheckIt keeps your data safe: 

No Data Stored or Shared
CheckIt does not collect, store, or send your Google Sheet data anywhere. All data stays between your Chrome browser and your Google Sheet.

Secure Connection
CheckIt uses your Deployment ID to connect directly and securely (HTTPS) to your Google Sheets via Google Apps Script.

Limited Permissions
The extension only requests the permissions needed to function — nothing more. Your data is never used for tracking or advertising.

You Control Access
You deploy your own Google Apps Script Web App, so you decide who can access your checklist data through its sharing settings.

Safe Updates
All updates to CheckIt come through the official Chrome Web Store, ensuring you always get authentic, verified code.

Important:
Keep your Deployment ID private. Make sure your Web App permissions are set carefully (recommended: Execute as Me, Anyone with the link) so only authorized people can access your checklist.
