CheckAnyPlates (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) built the CheckAnyPlates application for iOS as an app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy
CheckAnyPlates does not require account registration and does not collect, store, or process personally identifiable information such as:
your name
email address
phone number
postal address
The App is designed to function without collecting personal informatio
The App may automatically collect certain technical information solely for attribution and analytics purposes via AppsFlyer, including:
Device or other identifiers, such as advertising identifiers (IDFA)
Device model and operating system version
App version and crash analytics
This data is collected via AppsFlyer, a third-party mobile attribution and analytics service, and only if you allow tracking through Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) prompt.
If you choose not to allow tracking, no device identifiers will be used for cross-app tracking or for personalized attribution.
CheckAnyPlates uses Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) framework. When first launched after this update, the App will show a permission prompt asking your consent to track across apps and websites owned by other companies.
Tracking here means using identifiers (e.g., IDFA) to:
attribute installs to campaigns
analyze engagement related to advertisements
You may choose to allow or deny this permission in the prompt or at any time later in Settings → Privacy → Tracking.
If tracking is denied, the App will still function normally and no tracking identifiers will be collected.
CheckAnyPlates integrates with AppsFlyer, a mobile attribution and analytics service.
AppsFlyer may collect and process device metadata, including:
advertising identifiers
app usage metadata
This information is used to:
measure app installs and campaign performance
provide aggregated analytics and statistics
help understand how users discover and engage with the App

AppsFlyer follows Apple’s Aggregated Advanced Privacy (AAP) framework to minimize cross-app tracking and user-level identifiers when consent is not given.
The App may request access to the following device features to support its core functionality:
Camera – to allow users to capture photos of vehicles, documents, incidents, or receipts.
Photo Library – to allow users to select images from their library and attach them to records.
Photo Library (Add Only) – to save photos created within the App to the user’s photo library.
All photos and media handled via these permissions are processed locally on the user’s device and are not uploaded or transmitted to our servers or third parties.
The App uses third-party services for app analytics and attribution (AppsFlyer). Otherwise, the App does not use:
advertising networks
Firebase or other analytics tools
Facebook SDK
marketing SDKs
backend user profiles
We do not sell your data to third parties.
We retain data only for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
Collected automatically through AppsFlyer (when consented) is used for:
marketing attribution
performance measurement
aggregated analytics
It is not linked to your personal identity.
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
CheckAnyPlates does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information, contact us, and we will delete it.
You can control tracking consent at any time:
Go to Settings → Privacy → Tracking
Toggle tracking permission for CheckAnyPlates
You may also choose to delete saved photos or data from within the App or from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
